Scratch resistant polycarbonate was developed to enhance surface performance, for example, scratch resistance, abrasion resistance, surface hardness, chemical resistance, and excellent UV protection capability by coating on one or two sides.
Compared with the original polycarbonate sheets, scratch resistant polycarbonate offers the same impact resistance, light transmittance, and flame resistance but better surface hardness, scratch resistance and wear resistance. It is the correct material for machine guards, building glass, front panels, security glass, bulletproof glass, etc.
